Cinnamon and Raisins Cookies Recipe

We’ve been having such a fun-filled half-term! It started with some baking fun, the chocolate chip cupcakes were a hit with little man.

We then enjoyed some fluffy American pancakes on Pancake Day, made puppets socks and put on a puppet show, and had some more crafting fun making pasta gems jewellery.

Little man loves baking, but we haven’t baked cookies in a long time. We tried the cinnamon and raisins cookies recipe from Flora Family Fun guide and it’s very easy to make.

As you are aware, this week we have been trying different activities from the guide, written by award-winning parenting author Tanith Carey.

We really enjoyed baking and crafting during half-term, and, once we are back to work and school, we will be trying other activities from the guide over the next weekends.

The cinnamon and raisins cookies were so full of flavour! It only took a few minutes to make the dough, and another 10 minutes to bake them.

You don’t need any cookie cutters for this recipe, but little man wanted to put some of our cutters to use. We decided to make heart-shaped cookies and flower-shaped cookies, on top of standard round cookies.
